What is Taiyogaoka?
Taiyogaoka is a hilly area with an altitude of 300m located in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture. It is approximately 30 minutes by car or 20 minutes by motorbike from downtown Kanazawa.
Taiyogaoka is popular as a scenic spot that offers a panoramic view of Kanazawa city. You can also enjoy the beautiful scenery of each season, such as cherry blossoms in spring, autumn leaves in autumn, and snowy scenery in winter.
Route to Taiyogaoka
Taiyogaoka is conveniently accessed by car or motorcycle.
By car, take the Hokuriku Expressway from downtown Kanazawa to the Kanazawa Higashi IC, then take National Route 305 toward downtown Kanazawa. After that, transfer from National Route 305 to National Route 159 and get off at Taiyogaoka Iriguchi, which is the entrance to Taiyogaoka.You will soon arrive at Taiyogaoka.
