In the center of the lily garden, there is a 30-meter-high observation deck from which you can enjoy a spectacular view. There are also restaurants, shops, and a flower picking corner within the lily garden.
Route to Tochigi Prefecture Hunter Mountain Lily Park
The route to Tochigi Prefecture Hunter Mountain Lily Park is as follows.
- From Nihonbashi in central Tokyo, take Hakozaki Minatobashi Street and Hakozaki IC onto 45 Mukojima Line/Shutto Expressway No. 6/Route 6.
- Transfer to Tohoku Expressway at Kawaguchi JCT
- Exit the Tohoku Expressway at Nishinasuno-Shiobara IC and enter National Route 400.
- Enter Prefectural Route 19 at the Momiji Line entrance (intersection)
- Follow the signs for Hunter Mountain Shiobara Lily Garden to your destination.
This route takes approximately three and a half hours (approximately 200 kilometers). There are many toll roads and mountain passes along the way, so please drive carefully.

The highlight of Hunter Mountain Lily Park in Tochigi Prefecture is the lily garden. Approximately 200 types of lilies are planted here, and they bloom from late June to early August. In addition, from the observation deck, you can see not only the lily garden but also mountains such as the Nasu Mountain Range and Mt. Nikko Shirane.
