This time, I would like to introduce a motorcycle trip to Mizugatsuka Park in Susono City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
What is Mizugatsuka Park?
Mizugatsuka Park is a park located at the foot of Mt. Fuji in Susono City, Shizuoka Prefecture that offers a panoramic view of the majestic Mt. Fuji.
You can enjoy nature in each season, such as cherry blossoms in spring, fresh greenery in summer, autumn leaves in autumn, and snowy scenery in winter.
The park also has plenty of facilities such as a shuttle bus stop for the 5th station, which is the base for climbing Mt. Fuji, toilets, and shops.
Route to Mizugatsuka Park
Mizugatsuka Park is located about 2 hours by car from central Tokyo.
From Tokyo/Hachioji
Go north on National Route 20, take the Tomei Expressway from Gotemba IC, get off at Susono IC, and proceed on National Route 246 towards Gotemba City.
When you see the Mizugatsuka Park sign, turn left and head towards the park.
From Tokyo/Shinjuku
Proceed on the Chuo Expressway to Gotemba IC, take the Tomei Expressway, get off at Susono IC, and proceed on National Route 246 towards Gotemba City.
