This time, I would like to introduce a motorcycle trip to Chausuyama Plateau in Toyone Village, Aichi Prefecture.
What is Chausuyama Highland?
Chausuyama Plateau is a plateau that spreads around Mt. Chausu, the highest mountain in Aichi Prefecture with an altitude of 1,415m, located on the border between Toyone Village, Aichi Prefecture and Neba Village, Shimoina District, Nagano Prefecture.
You can enjoy nature in each season, such as moss phlox in spring, fresh greenery in summer, autumn leaves in autumn, and snowy scenery in winter.
There are also tourist spots such as Chausuyama Kogen Ski Resort and Chausuyama Kogen Campsite.
Route to Chausuyama Plateau
Chausuyama Highland is located about 3 hours by car from central Tokyo.
From Tokyo/Hachioji
Go north on National Route 20, change from the Chuo Expressway at Takaido IC to the Nagano Expressway, get off at Okaya IC, go south on National Route 19, and continue west on National Route 20.
When you see the Chausuyama Plateau sign, turn right and head towards Chausuyama Plateau.
From Tokyo/Shinjuku
Take the Chuo Expressway from Takaido IC to Nagano Expressway, get off at Okaya IC, go south on National Route 19, and go west on National Route 20.
