Fuji from the park. Chiba Fornia is said to resemble California’s Santa Monica Beach, which is where the name comes from.
Route to Chiba Fornia
To get to Chiba Fornia, take the Shuto Expressway Inner Loop Line from central Tokyo, then take the Shuto Expressway Bayshore Route to the Tokyo Bay Aqua Line. The Tokyo Bay Aqua Line is an expressway that crosses Tokyo Bay, consisting of an approximately 15 km undersea tunnel and approximately 10 km of bridges, and also allows you to stop at the artificial island “Umihotaru” in the sea. After leaving the Tokyo Bay Aqua Line, head south on National Route 409 and enter Sodegaura City. In Sodegaura City, proceed west along Kaihin Koen Dori and arrive at Sodegaura Seaside Park.
