Heidi’s Village is a theme park located in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture that recreates the setting of the anime “Heidi, Girl of the Alps.”
Heidi Village is located at the foot of the Southern Alps in the northern part of Yamanashi Prefecture. The vast grounds are lined with facilities that recreate the world of the anime, including the mountain hut where Heidi lived, her grandfather’s ranch, and the school Clara attended.
Route to Heidi’s village
Heidi Village is easily accessible by car or motorbike.
If you are coming by car, get off the Chuo Expressway at Kofu Kita IC and follow National Route 20 towards Nirasaki. After that, transfer from National Route 20 to National Route 141 and get off at “Heidi’s Village Entrance”, which is the entrance to Heidi’s Village, and you will soon arrive at Heidi’s Village.
If you are riding a motorcycle, get off the Chuo Expressway at Kofu Kita IC and continue along National Route 20 towards Nirasaki. After that, transfer from National Route 20 to National Route 141 and get off at “Heidi’s Village Entrance”, which is the entrance to Heidi’s Village, and you will soon arrive at Heidi’s Village.
The highlight of Heidi’s Village is, above all, the many facilities that recreate Heidi’s world.
At the mountain hut, you can see the room where Heidi lived. At the farm, you can interact with animals such as goats and sheep. At the school, you can see the classrooms Heidi attended and the garden where Heidi and Clara played.
Heidi’s Village also has a wide selection of original Heidi’s Village gourmet foods, sweets, and souvenirs.
