[Kanto day trip touring spot] [Saitama Prefecture] Bike trip to Musashi Hills Forest Park! A solo trip on a Harley with a spectacular view of a magnificent park
Musashi Hill Forest Park, located in Saitama Prefecture, is a magnificent park with a total area of approximately 304 hectares, and is a spot surrounded by rich nature. This is a recommended place for those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the scenery of each season.
The touring trip starts from Tokiwabashi in central Tokyo. Along with my beloved Harley-Davidson FLSB Sports Glide, I enjoyed the journey to Musashikyuryo Forest Park along the following route.
From Tokiwabashi to the Metropolitan Expressway Inner Loop Line/C1. While looking at the buildings of Tokyo, I headed towards Kita Ikebukuro.
Via Shuto Expressway No. 5 Ikebukuro Line. Exit the Shuto Expressway at Takashimadaira and proceed to Shin-Omiya Bypass/National Route 17.
Next, take the Tokyo Gaikan Expressway/Kanetsu Expressway from the direction of Wako City. This road is rich in nature and is very pleasant to drive.
On the way, take the Kanetsu Expressway and get off at Higashimatsuyama IC.
Finally, if you continue along Prefectural Route 47, you will arrive at the entrance of Musashikyuryo Forest Park.
Along this route, you can enjoy the transition from urban scenery to rural scenery.
The park is filled with seasonal flowers and virgin forests. In particular, the cherry blossoms in spring and the autumn leaves in fall are the best times to see, and the area is crowded with many visitors. There are also shops selling special products from Saitama prefecture, so you can enjoy the local flavors.
There is a spacious parking lot for motorcycles in the park, which is used by many touring riders. Security is also solid, so you can park your car with peace of mind.
