What is Togakushi Shrine?

Togakushi Shrine is a shrine located in Togakushi, Nagano City, Nagano Prefecture.

It is the main shrine of the approximately 1,300 Togakushi shrines nationwide, and is dedicated to Oyamatsumi, the grandson of Amaterasu Omikami.

Togakushi Shrine is made up of five shrines called Gosha Myojin, and each shrine has its own personality.
