Mitsumine Shrine in Saitama Prefecture is famous as one of the major touring spots in the Kanto region.
There may be fewer people living in the Kanto region who don’t know the name.
We will tell you about the charms of Mitsumine Shrine, including its benefits, access, and walking videos.
Please read this article and take a dramatic trip.
Mimine Shrine Blessings
The blessings are marital harmony (husband and wife getting along well), family safety, abundant harvest, protection against fire, theft, and misfortune. The messenger of the god at Mitsumine Shrine is unusually a wolf, not a guardian dog.
It is said that the wolf that lived deep in the mountains of Chichibu was worshiped as a divine messenger who protected crops from wild boars.
Also, the “Dragon God” that suddenly appeared in 2012 (the Year of the Dragon) is famous, and some people come just to see it.
There are also many other power spots where you can receive “good energy”, making it one of the best power spots in the Kanto region.
Mimine Shrine Access
I would like to introduce this site as it is well organized for access from various directions.
▼For those coming from Tokyo area
From the Kanetsu Expressway “Hanazono IC” take National Route 140 → Approximately 2 hours via Minano Yorii Bypass.▼For those coming from the Yamanashi area
From the Chuo Expressway “Kofu Showa IC” take National Route 140 → Arrive in about 2 and a half hours via the Ganzaka Tunnel.
National Route 140 is an easy road to drive, but the approximately 9km stretch from Lake Chichibu to Mitsumine Shrine is a narrow mountain road, and there are places where oncoming vehicles cannot pass, so please be careful when driving.By the way, there is a route from Mitsumineguchi Station to Mitsumine Shrine on foot, but it takes about 6 hours to walk normally. (about 22.8km)

Mimine Shrine parking lot
If you go up Prefectural Route 278, you will arrive at the paid parking lot of Mitsumine Shrine.
All parking lots have a fee, and the parking fee for motorcycles is 210 yen per day.
The manager at the management tower at the entrance of the parking lot will come to you, so please pay in advance.
If you’re on a bike, you’ll get flustered at this point, so it’s a good idea to keep a coin purse in your pocket.
If you are driving, you can park your car for 510 yen per day.
Please note that you can enter and leave the paid parking lot from 8:00 to 18:00, and if you are staying at Mitsumine Shrine, you will have to enter by 18:00 and leave after 8:00 the next day.
