Hello, this is _hiroyuki.ta.
This time, I toured from Ageo City, Saitama Prefecture to Kameido Tenjin Shrine, Tokyo on my favorite Harley-Davidson FLSB Sport Glide.
Kameido Tenjin Shrine is a shrine dedicated to Sugawara Michizane, the god of learning, and is also famous for its beautiful plum, wisteria, and chrysanthemum flowers. This time, I would like to introduce the route to Kameido Tenjin Shrine, highlights, and motorcycle parking.
Route to Kameido Tenjin Shrine
From Ageo City, Saitama Prefecture to Kameido Tenjin Shrine, enter the Tohoku Expressway from Nakasendo/National Route 17 and National Route 16, then take the Shuto Expressway Kawaguchi Line/S1 and the Shuto Expressway Chuo Loop Route/C2 to Kuramaebashi Street/ I chose the route that takes me to Route 315.
The distance is approximately 49km and the journey time is approximately 1 hour.
There are toll sections along the way, but you can avoid traffic jams by using the expressway. Additionally, from the Shuto Expressway Central Loop Route/C2, you can enjoy views of the Tokyo Sky Tree and the Sumida River.

When you arrive at Kameido Tenjin Shrine, the first thing you will see is the red drum bridge.
Otokobashi Bridge is the first bridge after passing the Otorii Gate and was built in the style of Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. This bridge is said to represent the past, based on the principle of “Sansei Ichinen,” which compares a pond and a bridge to a person’s life.
Of course, the charm of Kameido Tenjin Shrine is also its flowers. The plum festival is held from February to March, and the approximately 300 plum blossoms blooming on the grounds are at their peak. The wisteria festival is held from late April to early May, and colorful wisteria flowers of purple, white, and pink hang down. The Chrysanthemum Festival is held from late October to late November, and chrysanthemums of various sizes are displayed. The flowers at Kameido Tenjin Shrine, which have different expressions depending on the season, are a wonderful sight to behold for both the eyes and the nose.
Kameido Tenjin Shrine motorcycle parking lot
Kameido Tenjin Shrine does not have a dedicated motorcycle parking lot, but there are several motorcycle parking lots nearby.
In this area, the parking lots available for motorcycles vary depending on the displacement and size of the motorcycle you are riding, so please choose the parking lot that matches the motorcycle you are riding.
