[Kanto scenic touring spot] [Chiba Prefecture] Bike trip to Minamiboso Nozaki Park! Solo Harley trip to enjoy Chiba’s spectacular scenery and history

Hello, this is _hiroyuki.ta.

This time, I went on a motorcycle tour from central Tokyo to Nojimazaki Park in Chiba Prefecture.

Nojimazaki Park is part of Minamiboso Quasi-National Park and is a cape at the tip of Shirahama Town.

We drove for about 2 and a half hours while enjoying the beautiful scenery along the coast. Let me introduce you to the situation.

Route to Nojimazaki Park

To get from central Tokyo to Nojimazaki Park, take the Shuto Expressway Route 9 Fukagawa Line, take the Shuto Expressway Wangan Line, cross the Tokyo Bay Aqua Line, and enter the Tateyama Expressway.

Go south on the Tateyama Expressway, exit to the Tateyama Bypass, and arrive at Nojimazaki Park via National Routes 127 and 410.

On the way, we took a break at the Umihotaru parking area of Tokyo Bay Aqua Line.

Umihotaru is an artificial island floating in the center of Tokyo Bay, with restaurants and shops. From the observation deck, you can see a panoramic view of Tokyo Bay. If the weather is good, you can even see Mt. Fuji.

Highlights of Nojimazaki Park

Nojimazaki Park has a nature observation trail and an observation deck.

The nature observation trail is a 1.5km promenade that allows you to go around the cape.

Along the way, there are information boards about plants and birds. From the observation deck, you can enjoy views of the Pacific Ocean and the Boso Peninsula.

You can also see Nojimazaki Lighthouse. Nojimazaki Lighthouse is the oldest Western-style lighthouse in Japan, built in 1870. We are still protecting the safety of shipping routes.

At Nojimazaki Park, you can see a variety of flowers and plants depending on the season.

Cherry blossoms and rapeseed flowers bloom in the spring, Hamabou and Hermanus bloom in the summer, and cosmos and Japanese clover bloom in the fall.

In winter, seabirds such as seagulls and terns can be seen migrating from the south.

Motorcycle parking lot at Nojimazaki Park

There is a free motorcycle parking lot at Nojimazaki Park.

There is a first parking lot near the entrance and a second parking lot near the observation deck.

The first parking lot is wide and flat, but the second parking lot is narrow and sloped.

There is no dedicated space for motorcycles, but if there is space available, you can park your car in a space reserved for regular cars.

However, please note that it can be crowded on weekends, holidays, and the tourist season.
